Pretty Pockets Swap

My Pretty Pockets Swap organized by Jessica 'Kids Napping? I'm Scrapping!

was received by  Ruth ' Through My Garden Gate' and I also received Ruth's lovely organizer so I'm posting all pictures here.

This is the organizer I sent to Ruth.....I tried my best, this was my very first organizer and I am happy that Ruth liked it ...

I chose a floral cotton in a dark beige with a matching striped background.

I sewed a pincushion in a pretty cram cotton with roses and embellished it with one of my hatpins...

I made some scented clay hearts, two muslin bags embellished with lace and buttons....a few heart trinkets and vintage buttons.....

..some glittery tags, ribbon and lace.

This is the beautiful organizer that Ruth sent to me...It's already hanging in my workroom and it looks lovely......

It came in this sweet box with an extra package...

These are all the beautiful things inside the box and the package with the pink bow contained a Pincushion Book...how sweet of Ruth to remember that I make pincushions! It's a great book with great pincushion patterns..

I love these adorable fabrics...

Lots of beautiful tags.....look at those delicate flowers.....

...and those vintage buttons!!

Those pockets are just so pretty!! Thank you Ruth...I really love it! and thank you Jessica for organizing such a great swap!

Renegade Fair Brooklyn

And so I went and had such a nice time browsing..and buying...it was sooo hot, sweltering and the rain never came. Quality of stands was so good, consistently so...very few boring stands. Have a look at the slideshow...the pictures are small but unfortunately I exceeded my quota with Flickr (which is so much better than Photobucket for picture quality)..
